# Task Examples

## Need Help Finding Something?

The examples are organized by the following categories that can all be searched for easily:

Sort**Task****Grade Level****Subject Area****Name of Author**All tasks are organized using their short hand labels (ie. 1A, 2C,3P, etc) and these can be found on the personalized task page of the website with their titles.

- Objectives are labeled: 1
- Discussion, Speaking and Listening are labeled: 2
- Vocabulary is labeled: 3
- Reading is labeled: 4
- Writing is labeled: 5
- Language, Culture and Identity is labeled: 6
- Tasks that Analyze Student and Teacher Work: A
- Tasks that Create Learning Materials: C
- Tasks that include the use of Technology: T
- Tasks that include full Lesson Plans: P

Tasks are organized by grade levels such as:

- Any specific grade level such as Kindergarten-12th grade
- Secondary (6th grade-12th grade)
- Elementary (Kindergarten-12th grade)
- All Grades

The reason for this vague labeling is that some lessons fit a variety of grade levels.

Tasks can also be searched for by subject areas such as:

- ELA
- History/Social Studies
- Humanities
- Math
- Science
    - Biology
    - Physics
- EFL
- ELL
- All Subjects
- Or by language
    - Chinese, Hatian Creole, Spanish, etc.

Of course we want to give credit to the author. If you have taken a Dimensions Course in the Fall of 2018 or in the Spring of 2019, we may have used your work as examples because we thought it was amazing enough to share with other teachers.

(Disclaimer: if you find something of yours on here that you don't want shared, please contact Rhonda. Note that all 2A assignments were not included in these examples due to their potentially personal nature.)
