Description: Learn more about creating language objectives through a short reading.
Task Objectives: Find interesting and useful information from reading a text, explain why or how the information will be useful in your practice, and state possible next steps for your learning.
Task WIDA: AW2, RS3
Task SIOP: 29
Task Course Objective:
Action Steps:
- Check the class folder/discussion in Canvas for your classmates’ Capstone Slideshows
- All Google slide shows should be set to "Anyone with link can comment"
3. Select a classmate who you would like to give feedback to. This can be because they teach a similar subject or grade level, or it could be that you want to know more about a subject area or grade level you are unfamilar with. It could be that you want to explore what others have done with tasks you haven't seen! It's up to you!
4. When you go into your classmates' Google Slide show, you can scroll down, or they should have a task table with a link you can reference. If there is NO LINK in the table, then they probably aren't done with that task just yet.
5. To offer your feedback, click on the "Add comment" button in the toolbar when you come across the slide you want to offer feedback on - make sure to include ALL Must Haves and at least one Amazing criteria. (ALL Peer feedback must be on the SLIDE SHOWS, NOT in their attached documents)
6. When you are submitting your own tasks to the weekly "Quiz" in Canvas, make sure you indicate that you gave feedback to someone, what their FULL name is, and which task you offered feedback on.
