Step 1

Reference the Personalized Task section of the website for tasks that are of interest to you.

Explore the online books with features to support readers:

and explore text annotation tools:

Step 3

Either create a book and post the link to the book OR create an assignment for an existing book on book builder OR create an assignment using a text that you might teach and an annotation tool.

  • Optional: Choose another tool such as Text to Speech to create a text with supports embedded to support reading.

Explain how you would assign and/or monitor students to use the help resources to support their reading.

Answer the following questions on your Capstone Google Slideshow (template here if you have not started) in addition to links to any materials created or used: 
  1. Name of the Assignment (1R, 2T, 3C, etc) as the title of the slide and answers to the following questions:
    1. What you learned or your most significant take away from the assignment.
    2. To learn more, what might your next steps be?

Step 6

Write your responses to the reflection questions (listed below and in this template) in an additional slide on your Capstone Google Slideshow:

  1. Explain how the lesson materials support students in monitoring their growth in learning language and content. Connect your explanation to examples in the work you are uploading or linking to.
